BPM Motion Timer Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how BPM Motion Timer (com.revo.breathmotion), provided by REVO ("we," "us," or "the developer"), handles information when you use the Android app. The Japanese version follows the English version. If the versions differ, the English version governs to the extent permitted by applicable law.

1. Scope and summary

BPM Motion Timer provides workout rhythm, repetition, breathing, and recovery guidance. No account is required. We do not operate an app backend that collects names, email addresses, workout histories, breathing histories, or precise location. App preferences are stored locally on your device. The app uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP), which may process advertising-related information as described below.

2. Information stored locally on your device

The app stores settings needed to remember your choices, including:

• language
• BPM, timer duration, rhythm mode, motion count, and countdown preference
• selected breathing pattern and recently used preset
• sound mode, cue preset, and volume settings; and
• consent or privacy choices stored by Google's SDK where applicable.

These app settings are stored locally using app or WebView storage. We do not receive them on our own server. You can remove locally stored app data by using Android's "Clear storage" function or by uninstalling the app.

3. Information processed for advertising and consent

The app uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display banner advertising and UMP to present and manage privacy choices. Depending on your device, settings, location, consent choice, and applicable law, Google and participating ad partners may process:

• IP address and approximate location inferred from it
• advertising identifiers and other device or app identifiers
• device model, operating system, language, app version, and network details
• ad requests, impressions, clicks, interactions, diagnostics, and fraud or abuse-prevention signals; and
• consent status and privacy choices.

The app does not request Android permissions for precise location, camera, microphone, contacts, health data, or media files. Approximate location may still be inferred by advertising providers from an IP address without a device location permission.

4. Purposes of processing

Information may be processed to provide and remember app settings; display contextual or, where permitted and consented to, personalized ads; measure ad delivery and performance; prevent fraud, abuse, and invalid traffic; maintain security, reliability, and diagnostics; and comply with legal, regulatory, and consent-management requirements.

5. Consent and legal bases

Where required in the EEA, United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another regulated region, the app requests updated consent information at launch and displays a Google-certified consent message before requesting ads when a message is required. The available options may include consent, refusal, and management of detailed choices. Google and participating partners identify the purposes, vendors, and applicable legal bases in that message.

If consent is unavailable or ads cannot lawfully be requested, the app is designed to continue operating without requesting an ad. Core timer, breathing, and rhythm features do not require advertising consent.

6. Sharing and disclosure

We do not directly sell personal information or operate a database for sharing app-user profiles. Advertising-related information may be disclosed to or processed by Google, ad technology providers, measurement providers, and fraud prevention providers involved in delivering ads. In some jurisdictions, personalized advertising may be legally characterized as a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising even where no money is exchanged for personal data. You may exercise available opt-out choices as described below.

Information may also be disclosed if reasonably necessary to comply with law, valid legal process, protect users or the public, investigate abuse, or protect the rights and security of the app and developer.

7. Retention

Locally stored preferences remain on your device until changed, cleared, or the app is uninstalled. We do not retain those preferences on our own server. Google and other advertising providers retain advertising and consent data according to their own policies, legal obligations, consent choices, and retention schedules.

8. International transfers

Google and its partners may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Their privacy notices describe the safeguards used for international transfers. By using advertising features subject to your choices and applicable law, information may be transferred to those locations.

9. Security

We minimize direct data handling and do not maintain an app-user account database. Local data is protected by Android's application sandbox and device security features. Internet communications used by the app and Google SDKs are expected to use encrypted transport where supported. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of a device or third-party service.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal information, withdraw consent, or opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing. You can:

• open Settings > Ad privacy choices in the app when the option is available
• adjust advertising privacy or personalization controls in Android and your Google account, including My Ad Center
• clear the app's local storage or uninstall the app; and
• contact us using the address below.

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before the withdrawal. We may need to verify a request and may direct requests concerning data controlled by Google or another provider to that provider. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

11. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly request names, contact details, or account information from children. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided personal information through an advertising service should contact us and the relevant provider.

12. Health and safety

Breathing timings, BPM values, and movement animations are general references. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or individualized exercise instruction. Stop using the activity if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or other discomfort, and seek advice from a qualified professional when appropriate.

13. Third-party links and services

The app or this policy may link to third-party services. Their information practices are governed by their own privacy policies, not this policy.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when app functionality, SDKs, advertising practices, or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and publish the latest version at this URL. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or store listing where appropriate.
